How you'll contribute

At Greenlyte, students are invited to tackle real challenges in the development and scaling of our Direct Air Capture and eFuels technology. Whether your background is in engineering, chemistry, process design, control systems, or sustainability, your thesis will directly contribute to shaping the future of carbon removal and green fuels.

Depending on your study focus and interests, following aspects of an innovative absorption tower/column can can be part of your work:
  • Product design of shell and interior

  • Mechanical Design of shell and interior

  • Maintain functionality while driving down costs

  • Static analysis

  • Resistance against chemicals

  • Resistance against vibrations

  • And so much more

About you

You are a hands-on, curious, and analytical thinker who enjoys turning complex challenges into practical solutions. You thrive in dynamic environments and like to see your ideas make a real impact. You’re motivated by the fight against climate change and excited to apply your academic knowledge to real-world decarbonization technology.

You bring:

  • A Master’s program background in engineering, process design, chemistry, or a related field

  • A structured and solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international team

  • Basic CAD or process simulation experience (a plus)

  • Motivation to take ownership of your project and learn fast

About us
GCT was founded in September 2022 with the ambition to develop a low-cost, robust Direct Air Capture technology that captures CO2 at world-leading energy rates, whilst supplying hydrogen as a by-product. The company’s technology is based on 15 years of research and has been proven at various scales. Since its founding, the company raised 45-million Euros in funding from leading venture capitalists and renowned business angels.
